Compliance status

Understand document and overall company statuses.

What it is and why it helps

Statuses prioritize document collection and renewals. They describe file presence and dates, not a legal determination that a company is cleared for every job.

How to use it

  1. Review status on the dashboard or roster.
  2. Open the company to see individual documents.
  3. Collect missing files and review dates for expiring or expired files.
  4. Refresh or revisit the overview after changes.

Document status rules

  • Missing: no current uploaded file, even when a date was entered.
  • Current: a file exists and expiration is not tracked, no date is entered, or its expiration is more than 30 days away.
  • Expiring Soon: a file exists with expiration today through 30 calendar days away, inclusive.
  • Expired: a file's expiration is before today, or its date cannot be interpreted.

Overall company status

No attached documents produces Missing. Otherwise priority is any expired document, then any expiring document, then missing required files. If none apply, the company is Compliant.

Expired or expiring optional documents affect company status too. Optional missing files do not prevent Compliant. The expiration day calculates as Expiring Soon, although that day's reminder email uses urgent expiration wording.
